Cure Alzheimer's Fund Strengthens Leadership with Three Strategic Board Appointments

Cure Alzheimer's Fund has announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Mary Greenhill Cagliero, Mark Faggiano, and Kumar Mahadeva. The diverse group of business leaders brings significant professional expertise and personal motivation to the organization's mission of advancing Alzheimer's research.

Mary Greenhill Cagliero, with a background in investment banking and entrepreneurship, joins the board with a personal connection to the disease. Her mother, Gayle, passed away from Alzheimer's in 2017. Similarly, Mark Faggiano, a successful technology entrepreneur known for founding TaxJar, lost his father Frank to the disease in 2021.

Kumar Mahadeva, founder of Cognizant Technology Solutions, rounds out the new board members. His father's battle with Alzheimer's in 2013 has deeply informed his commitment to the organization's research goals.

Board Chair Henry McCance emphasized the importance of bringing new perspectives to the organization, noting that these appointments will help Cure Alzheimer's Fund continue its critical work. Since its founding in 2004, the nonprofit has provided 927 grants to over 300 researchers and contributed more than $223 million to Alzheimer's research.

The additions to the board represent a strategic move to leverage diverse business expertise in the fight against a disease that affects millions globally. With personal stakes driving their commitment, these new board members are poised to accelerate the organization's research and potential breakthrough efforts.
