Veteran Real Estate Finance Expert Jonathan Rice Joins Ackerman & Co. to Expand Capital Markets Platform

Ackerman & Co. has strengthened its capital markets team by recruiting Jonathan Rice, a veteran real estate finance executive with more than two decades of experience at CBRE. Rice will leverage his extensive background in structured finance to expand the company's investment and financing strategies across various commercial real estate sectors.

In his new role, Rice will focus on arranging debt and equity financing for both third-party clients and Ackerman's internal investment portfolio. His expertise spans multiple property types, including hospitality, retail, mixed-use, industrial, and office developments.

Throughout his career, Rice has orchestrated over $10 billion in real estate transactions. His notable past projects include financing groundbreaking developments like Ponce City Market, the SkyHouse multifamily towers, and the Sales Force Tower in Buckhead. These experiences position him to bring significant strategic value to Ackerman & Co.'s investment platform.

Leo Wiener, President of Ackerman Retail, highlighted Rice's deep industry relationships and impressive transaction history as key factors in his recruitment. Rice will collaborate closely with the company's Investments team, including Evan Ziegler, to create innovative capital solutions.
