The Islamic Circle of North America's (ICNA) WhyIslam Dallas chapter is launching a targeted awareness campaign to educate the community about Ramadan, utilizing strategic billboard placements and community outreach initiatives.

The campaign features two prominent billboard locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex: one at the intersection of President George Bush Turnpike and Dallas North Tollway, and another along LBJ Freeway near DFW International Airport. These high-visibility sites are designed to reach a diverse audience and spark curiosity about Ramadan and Islamic traditions.

The billboards carry an invitational message, "Fast With Us!", encouraging people of all backgrounds to learn about the spiritual significance of Ramadan. The campaign aims to highlight the month's core values of reflection, giving, and spirituality, while providing resources for those interested in learning more about Islam.

Visitors are directed to 1-877-WHYISLAM and www.whyislam.org, where they can find comprehensive information about the religious observance. The initiative seeks to create a welcoming platform for interfaith understanding and dialogue, addressing potential misconceptions about Islamic practices.

Beyond the billboard campaign, WhyIslam Dallas is also engaging in humanitarian efforts through ICNA Relief, including supporting refugees, distributing toys to children from refugee families, and promoting community healing during the Ramadan period.

A press conference to launch the campaign will be held on Sunday, March 3rd at the ICNA Center in Richardson, Texas, where community leaders will discuss the campaign's objectives and broader goals of cultural understanding.
