Wytec Launches Multi-State AI Gunshot Detection Technology for Government Agencies

Wytec International has initiated sales for a comprehensive multi-state government contract that will deploy its advanced AI gunshot detection technology across numerous public sector organizations. The Master Services Agreement, established through the TXShare Cooperative Purchasing Program, enables Wytec to offer its innovative smart sensor solutions to a wide range of government entities.

The contract covers more than 170 U.S. cities, 50 counties, and over 40 special districts, including transit authorities, water utility boards, police departments, school districts, and hospitals. Wytec's technology combines AI-powered gunshot detection sensors with private LTE and in-building cellular technologies to enhance public safety infrastructure.

The company's gunshot detection system has demonstrated exceptional accuracy, with lab tests showing 94% true positive and 95% true negative detection rates. By partnering with Lemko Corporation, a technology firm with over 50 U.S. and international patents, Wytec will deploy commercial-grade networks utilizing 4G and 5G wireless technologies.

Wytec plans to offer a no-cost trial of its gunshot detection service, providing government agencies an opportunity to evaluate the technology's effectiveness. The company is currently traded on the OTCQB market and has intentions to uplift to the Nasdaq Capital Markets, signaling potential growth and investor confidence in its technological innovations.
