Golden Cariboo Resources has reported another significant gold discovery at its Quesnelle Gold Quartz property, with drill hole QGQ24-21 intersecting visible gold mineralization in the Halo zone. This marks the ninth consecutive drill hole with visible gold since the initial discovery in July 2024.

The latest drill hole, positioned at an azimuth of 355° and an inclination of -45°, revealed gold mineralization within a stockwork of quartz-carbonate-pyrite veins hosted in altered greenstone. The mineralization is spatially related to shear zones, similar to previous successful drill results.

Company President Frank Callaghan expressed enthusiasm about the continued success, viewing this as a promising start to the 2025 drilling season. The ongoing drill hole, currently at 285.3 meters, has not yet reached the lower boundary of the mineralized zone, suggesting potential for further discoveries.

The discovery is significant for the mining industry, as it demonstrates the continued gold potential of the Quesnelle property. Located in central British Columbia, the property sits in a historically productive region with over 101 placer gold creeks along a 90-kilometer trend.

Geologically, the consistent visible gold findings in multiple drill holes indicate a robust and potentially expansive mineral deposit. This could attract further investment and exploration interest in the region, potentially contributing to British Columbia's mining sector growth.
