Korean Artist Sangwon Chun Brings Experimental Urban Landscapes to The Other Art Fair Brooklyn

Korean contemporary artist Sangwon Chun will present a distinctive collection of urban-focused artworks at The Other Art Fair in Brooklyn, highlighting innovative approaches to capturing city landscapes through unconventional artistic techniques.

Chun, a graduate of Seoul National University's Department of Painting, will exhibit oil paintings that explore the emotional complexity of modern urban environments. Her work uniquely incorporates natural materials such as red pine pollen, charcoal, and iron powder, creating visual depth and dynamic perspectives that challenge traditional artistic representations of city life.

The Other Art Fair, presented by Saatchi Art, will showcase 120 emerging and independent artists from May 8 to 11 at ZeroSpace in Brooklyn. The event provides a platform for direct interaction between artists and attendees, offering an immersive art experience that includes live performances and DJ sets.

Chun's participation continues her notable exhibition history, which includes a 2023 solo exhibition at Nineone Gallery and appearances at significant art events like Seoul Auction X Zero Base and ART KAOHSIUNG in Taiwan.
