Critical Metals Corp Initiates Drilling Program in Greenland to Advance Tanbreez Rare Earth Project

Critical Metals Corp (Nasdaq: CRML) has commenced a significant 2000m resource diamond drilling program at the Tanbreez Rare Earth Project in Greenland, marking a pivotal step towards commercial production anticipated by 2026. This initiative is part of the company's strategy to address the escalating demand for rare earth materials in the United States and the broader Western market. The drilling campaign is designed to augment the current Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and facilitate the completion of a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS), which is crucial for the final mining decision.

Tony Sage, CEO and Executive Chairman of Critical Metals Corp, emphasized the importance of this drilling campaign in accelerating the Tanbreez project's development. The installation of a new drilling rig is expected to significantly enhance the resource estimate, with the first drill hole, K25-01, already showing promising results. The core samples from the initial 60m reveal medium-grained eudialyte with a composition of 30% -40%, indicating the potential for substantial rare earth element extraction.

The drilling program focuses on extending the resource east of the existing Fjord Deposit, targeting depths between 80m to 250m across the undulating landscape. This effort is supported by 60 North Greenland, a seasoned drilling contractor, and a team of distinguished rare earth geologists. The collected data will be instrumental in finalizing the BFS and preparing the necessary reports for Greenland regulators and financial partners, including the Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM), with the aim of completing these documents by Q4 2025.
