Additionally, PortMiami's handling of over 7.3 million cruise passengers in 2023 has created a significant need for cruise and short-term parking solutions.

One of the notable trends in Miami's parking scene is the emergence of 'Parkitecture,' where parking structures are designed as architectural landmarks, blending functionality with public art. This trend is particularly evident in the Miami Design District, showcasing the city's leadership in reimagining parking infrastructure. Moreover, Miami is pioneering smart curb management through the use of solar-powered cameras, AI, and license-plate recognition (LPR) to enforce SMART Loading Zones, initially piloting 26 zones across downtown and Brickell.

The adoption of technology in parking solutions is rapidly growing, with mobile payment systems, dynamic pricing, and parking apps becoming increasingly popular. These apps offer real-time parking availability, remote time extensions, and flexible payment methods, addressing the impatience of drivers with traditional parking systems.
