45Drives has announced the addition of Tom Lawrence, Jeff of Craft Computing, and Allan Jude to the lineup of the 2025 Creators Summit, set to take place in Wilmington, North Carolina, from September 8-12, 2025. This event marks the third year of the summit and its first hosting in the U.S., featuring dual-track programming aimed at both enterprise users and creative professionals. The summit will also see the global debut of 45Studio, a new division and product suite designed for high-performance creative workflows.

Tom Lawrence, known for his work with Lawrence Systems, expressed enthusiasm for the summit's focus on open source and innovation, highlighting the event's role in fostering collaboration among creators, engineers, and open-source advocates. The Enterprise Track will delve into next-gen storage performance using technologies like ZFS, Ceph, and DRBD, while the Creative Artist Track will explore open workflows for creators, emphasizing independence from vendor lock-in.
