Consensus Health has named Christine Hayek as its new chief operating officer, elevating a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience in operational leadership and strategic growth. Hayek will oversee the organization's network of 172 independent providers, focusing on improving practice performance and leveraging collective organizational impact.
Previously serving as vice president of operations and human resources, Hayek brings more than two decades of healthcare management expertise, including nearly 20 years at AtlantiCare Health System. Her background includes leading critical initiatives in provider operations, population health transformation, and strategic practice acquisitions.
In her new role, Hayek will be responsible for driving operational excellence across Consensus Health's 56 practices and 69 locations throughout 18 New Jersey counties. Her appointment follows a proven track record of enhancing provider experiences, improving patient care, and supporting organizational growth.
CEO Michael Lovett described Hayek's promotion as well-deserved, highlighting her ability to partner with providers to improve patient experiences and ensure physician productivity. Hayek will report directly to Lovett and assumes the role previously held by him before his promotion to chief executive officer.
With a bachelor's degree in business management and an MBA from Stockton University, Hayek's leadership is expected to continue Consensus Health's strategic development and commitment to clinical autonomy for its independent providers.
