The reorganization involves expanding roles for several key executives, reflecting the increasingly interconnected nature of regional healthcare markets.
Stacy Crim will now serve as vice president of the Washington market, adding account management oversight to her existing responsibilities. Stephanie Walker's role has been expanded to include management of all public-sector accounts, while Tracy Olsen will now direct new sales efforts in both Oregon and Washington.
Michael Cole, president for Regence in both states, emphasized the strategic rationale behind these changes. He noted that employers, providers, and brokers are increasingly working across state lines, necessitating a more unified approach to serving regional healthcare needs.
The leadership team brings substantial experience to their roles, with executives collectively possessing over 100 years of industry experience. Each leader has deep regional roots and educational backgrounds in health administration and related fields.
