Peapack Private Bank & Trust has appointed Zachary Bermudez as Senior Managing Director in its commercial real estate division, bringing extensive industry experience to the financial institution. Bermudez will be responsible for managing credit and reporting functions while maintaining client relationships.
With more than 20 years of commercial real estate finance experience, Bermudez brings a robust professional background to the role. His career trajectory includes significant positions at notable financial institutions, including Signature Bank, where he managed a $33+ billion commercial real estate loan portfolio, and most recently, A&E Real Estate Finance.
Prior to joining Peapack Private Bank & Trust, Bermudez held progressive roles in underwriting, origination, and relationship management. He began his career at North Fork Bank in 2003 and advanced through senior leadership positions at Signature Bank, where he served as Group Director and Senior Vice President overseeing CRE operations and risk.
Bermudez holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from Dowling College and is a graduate of SUNY Empire State College. He remains actively involved in the industry as a board member of The Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University.
