Stagnari as a Senior Managing Director in its Commercial Real Estate (CRE) lending division, bringing extensive industry expertise to support the bank's strategic growth objectives. Stagnari joins the organization with a robust background managing complex real estate loan portfolios across multiple asset classes.
With over 25 years of commercial real estate lending experience, Stagnari previously served as Senior Vice President and Group Director of CRE Lending at Signature Bank in New York. During his tenure, he managed a substantial portfolio exceeding 1,000 loans with balances surpassing $6 billion, demonstrating his significant capabilities in relationship management and loan origination.
Stagnari's professional background includes strategic roles at prominent financial institutions such as People's United Bank, M&T Bank, Beacon Federal Bancorp, and North Fork Bank. His expertise spans diverse real estate asset classes, including multifamily, retail, office, mixed-use, shelter housing, land development, and specialized financing structures.
The addition of Stagnari represents a strategic move for Peapack Private Bank & Trust to enhance its commercial real estate lending platform and expand into new markets. His comprehensive understanding of underwriting, credit, and risk management will be instrumental in driving the bank's growth and supporting client investments.
Academically trained with a Bachelor of Technology in Public Safety: Criminal Investigations from the State University of New York at Canton and a Master of Public Administration from Long Island University, Stagnari also maintains professional memberships with the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Risk Management Association.
