Roots rocker DownTown Mystic is set to release its latest digital album, 'The Wish', through The Orchard/Sony Music on April 11, with radio promotion beginning April 15. The album represents an evolution of the artist's rock sound, featuring 12 tracks including two bonus songs.
Creator Robert Allen designed the album to offer a positive musical experience during challenging global times. The record showcases a unique rock and roll style, supported by an exceptional rhythm section including drummer Steve Holley and bassist Paul Page, known for their work with renowned artists like Paul McCartney and Ian Hunter.
The title track 'The Wish' emerged from a collaborative creative process with Holley, who suggested reimagining the song's tempo and groove. Guest guitarist Stephen DeAcutis contributed to the track's production and mixed most of the album, while mastering expert Leon Zervos provided the final sonic polish.
DownTown Mystic has already established significant international recognition, with radio airplay in over 50 countries and sync-licensing in more than 250 television shows and films. The artist's upcoming film placements include 'Sovereign' featuring Dennis Quaid and Nick Offerman, and 'Everything's Going to Be Great' starring Bryan Cranston and Allison Janney.
The album builds on the momentum of previous singles 'Better Day' and 'One More Chance', continuing to expand the artist's global musical footprint with a sound that balances energy, delicacy, and soulful storytelling.
