Canada One Mining Corp. has received a critical 5-year exploration drilling permit from the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals for its flagship Copper Dome Project, marking a significant milestone in the company's exploration strategy.
The permit enables Canada One to comprehensively explore the project, with immediate plans to focus on the Boundary Zone discovered in 2023. According to CEO Peter Berdusco, the company will leverage geological, geochemical, geophysical, and structural data to identify and prioritize specific exploration targets during the 2025 field season.
Historical drilling results from the Friday Creek and Combination Creek Zones have already shown promising copper and gold intercepts, suggesting potential mineral resource development. The project's strategic location, situated 1.5 kilometers from Hudbay Mineral's Copper Mountain Mine deposits, further enhances its geological significance.
