First Tellurium Corp. is set to showcase a novel thermoelectric generator that could revolutionize energy efficiency in transportation and industrial applications. The company's majority-owned subsidiary, PyroDelta Energy Inc., will present a video demonstration of its innovative device on April 30.
The tellurium-based generator, developed over eight years, presents a significant technological advancement in energy recovery. By capturing waste heat from combustion engines, the device promises a minimum of 6% fuel savings while eliminating the need for traditional alternators and radiators. Its design allows for straightforward installation in both new and existing vehicles.
Beyond automotive applications, the technology shows potential for broader industrial use, particularly in energy-intensive sectors such as artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency mining. The device's ability to convert waste heat into usable electrical energy represents a promising approach to improving overall energy efficiency.
CEO Tyrone Docherty also announced additional corporate developments, including a forthcoming shareholder luncheon in mid-May and the issuance of 1.5 million stock options priced at $0.15 per share.
The demonstration could mark a significant milestone in waste heat recovery technology, potentially offering manufacturers and industries a more sustainable approach to energy management.
