These facilities, spanning chlor-alkali producers, chlorine packagers, sodium hypochlorite manufacturers, and chlorine industrial users, represent a diverse cross-section of the chemical industry. The Diamond Level status underscores the industry's 'Aim for Zero' philosophy, which prioritizes protecting workers, communities, and the environment.
CI President Frank Reiner emphasized the significance of this recognition, noting that it serves as a benchmark for excellence and inspires continuous improvement across the industry.
