Mullen Automotive's subsidiary Bollinger Motors has successfully delivered its B4 all-electric Class 4 commercial vehicle to the Lower East Side Ecology Center in New York City. Funded by the NYC Council, this electric truck represents a significant step toward urban sustainability and green municipal transportation.
The Bollinger B4 comes equipped with advanced features tailored for urban environmental operations, including a 158-kWh battery, 185-mile range, and a 16-foot dry box with a power lift gate. These specifications make it particularly well-suited for composting and environmental program support.
This delivery is part of Mullen Automotive's broader strategy to expand its commercial electric vehicle portfolio. The company has already received important certifications, including California Air Resource Board and EPA approvals for its Mullen ONE cargo van and Mullen THREE truck models.
The vehicle's deployment underscores a growing trend of municipalities and ecological organizations transitioning to electric fleet vehicles. By utilizing an electric truck, the LES Ecology Center can reduce its carbon emissions while maintaining operational efficiency in urban environments.
Mullen Automotive continues to position itself as a key player in the commercial electric vehicle market, with manufacturing facilities in Mississippi and Indiana and a growing dealer network across multiple U.S. regions.
