Technology company SKYX Platforms Corp. has been selected to implement its advanced smart home technologies in a $3 billion development project in Miami's Little River District, representing a major milestone in urban technological integration.
The project, in collaboration with SG Holdings, will incorporate SKYX's patented plug-and-play smart home platform across 5,700 residential units, including affordable housing. The deployment will feature over 500,000 technology units designed to enhance residential safety and convenience.
SKYX's technology platform will provide comprehensive smart features including voice and app controls, 911 emergency calling, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and other advanced safety mechanisms. This represents the first development of its kind in Florida and positions the company to establish recurring revenue streams through subscription, monitoring, and future technological integrations.
The project's significance extends beyond individual residential benefits, potentially setting a new standard for smart city development. By integrating advanced safety technologies into a large-scale urban development, SKYX demonstrates how technological innovation can transform residential infrastructure and potentially improve community safety.
Backed by U.S. and global manufacturers, the project underscores the growing trend of technology-driven urban development and the increasing importance of smart home technologies in modern residential design.
