The DFW Car & Toy Museum has added a significant piece of automotive history to its collection: a meticulously preserved 1992 Ferrari 512 TR. This rare supercar represents a pivotal moment in Ferrari's design legacy, with fewer than 400 units officially imported to the United States during its three-year production run.
The 512 TR, an evolution of the legendary Testarossa, showcases Ferrari's engineering prowess from the early 1990s. Finished in classic Ferrari red with a tan interior, this particular model comes with its original documentation, tool kit, and unique preservation accessories, making it a highly sought-after collector's item.
Ron Sturgeon, museum founder, emphasized the vehicle's historical significance, describing it as a defining automotive icon of its generation. The car's inclusion in the museum's collection offers automotive enthusiasts an opportunity to experience a pristine example of 1990s supercar excellence.
The vehicle's rarity and exceptional condition make it a standout attraction among the museum's extensive collection of over 200 vehicles. Visitors can view this automotive masterpiece at the museum's new 150,000-square-foot facility in North Fort Worth, which offers free admission and parking.
