Mitesco Inc. has expanded its board of directors and revealed strategic developments across its data center and technology ventures divisions. Jim Clifton, a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software, data center hardware, and real estate, has joined the company's board.
Centcore, Mitesco's data center business unit, is broadening its market approach by introducing a value-added reseller (VAR) group. The group will initially focus on providing automated remote backup, advanced cybersecurity, and municipal applications. Brian Valania, Centcore's General Manager, explained that this strategy allows the company to leverage external expertise without increasing internal overhead.
The company is exploring expansion opportunities, including potential configurations of up to 20 racks at its Melbourne, Florida location. Mitesco plans to develop a network of small, purpose-built data centers ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 square feet, utilizing existing structures with appropriate infrastructure.
Simultaneously, Vero Technology Ventures is developing Robo Agent, an AI-based sales automation application initially targeting the residential real estate market. With over 3 million real estate agents in the United States facing increasing compensation pressures, the application aims to improve productivity through advanced voice technology and psychographic analysis.
The Robo Agent application will be offered as a turnkey solution and as an accessory to existing customer relationship management (CRM) platforms. Mitesco is collaborating with leading real estate agents to refine the application's specifications and conduct beta testing.
These strategic moves demonstrate Mitesco's commitment to expanding its technological capabilities and providing innovative solutions across data center services and AI-driven productivity tools.
