Bryn Coby, a Case Aide Specialist at Northwoods, has been named one of the Top 100 Influencers in Local Government by Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) for 2025, recognizing her significant contributions to child welfare support in Ohio.
Coby currently supports nine child welfare agencies and is preparing to expand her team to twelve, focusing on providing administrative support that allows caseworkers to dedicate more time directly to families. Ryan Sherry, Director of Case Aide Services at Northwoods, praised Coby's dedication, noting her consistent commitment to supporting county caseworkers and the families they serve. Dave Minning, the company's President and CEO, emphasized that her recognition reflects Northwoods' broader mission of innovation and community impact.
Coby herself credited her colleagues, stating that the award belongs to all child welfare workers doing challenging protection work in their communities. Her approach underscores the collaborative nature of public service and the collective effort required to support vulnerable populations.
