The PR Club's 57th Annual Bell Ringer Awards, held at the Museum of Science in Boston, marked a significant moment for the public relations and communications industry, returning to pre-pandemic attendance levels and celebrating the sector's best talents and campaigns. The event, hosted by Emmy-nominated journalist Emily Schario, underscored the importance of strategic communication in today's fast-paced media environment.
Duffy & Shanley, RDW Group, and 360PR+ were among the top agencies recognized, with 360PR+ winning the Platinum Super Bell Award for their thought leadership campaign for CarGurus. This achievement highlights the critical role of PR in shaping corporate narratives and influencing media landscapes.
The awards also honored individuals for their contributions to the field, including Amy Shanler, recipient of the John J. Molloy Crystal Bell Lifetime Achievement Award, and Erin Fennell and Julianna Sheridan, who were recognized for their early and mid-career achievements, respectively. The introduction of the Carillonneur Professional Award celebrated V2 Communications for fostering an outstanding workplace culture, emphasizing the industry's growing focus on employee well-being and development.
Beyond recognizing excellence, the event served as a platform for giving back, with a fundraiser supporting CommonWealth Kitchen, a nonprofit empowering underrepresented food entrepreneurs. This initiative reflects the PR community's commitment to social responsibility and equity.
The 57th Annual Bell Ringer Awards not only celebrated the past year's achievements but also set a benchmark for innovation, leadership, and community engagement in the PR and communications industry.
