The Canadian Recreational Vehicle Association (CRVA) has initiated a cross-country tour to commemorate its 50th anniversary, aiming to celebrate the RV lifestyle and support the Care Camps Foundation. This initiative highlights the growing popularity of RVing in Canada, with over 2.1 million households owning an RV, contributing significantly to the economy with an annual impact of $3.4 billion and supporting 14,000 jobs nationwide.
CRVA's President, Shane Devenish, is leading the tour in a specially wrapped 2025 Citation Reward Travel Trailer, making stops at campgrounds and RV dealerships across Canada. The tour not only celebrates the association's milestone but also focuses on community engagement and fundraising for Care Camps, a charity dedicated to providing healing camp experiences for children with cancer. Participants have the opportunity to win the trailer, valued at over $100,000, with every ticket sold directly benefiting the cause.
This journey underscores the importance of the RV industry to Canada's economy and the therapeutic value of outdoor experiences for children facing health challenges. It represents a unique blend of celebration, community support, and the promotion of a lifestyle that encourages exploration and connection with nature.
