HELLA GmbH & Co. KGaA, known as FORVIA HELLA, is taking significant steps to boost its brand awareness in the automotive sector by sponsoring the 2025 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC). The company is not only sponsoring the Time Attack 1 Division but also introducing the HELLA Hype and HELLA Heritage Awards, each accompanied by a $2000 cash reward. This move highlights HELLA's dedication to celebrating excellence and innovation in automotive performance.
Robb Holland, a seasoned racer with a history of setting records at Pikes Peak, will drive a HELLA-sponsored 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Cup car, aiming for victory in the Time Attack 1 class. Meanwhile, Clint Vahsholtz, another veteran of the Hill Climb, will compete in a HELLA-sponsored 2023 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. Both vehicles feature special HELLA liveries, symbolizing the partnership's spirit of endurance and performance.
Robert Tinson, Vice President at HELLA, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, aligning HELLA's 125 years of engineering excellence with the PPIHC's legacy of pushing automotive limits. The sponsorship and awards are part of HELLA's broader strategy to enhance its visibility in key automotive categories, including brake systems, by associating with high-performance vehicles and prestigious events like the PPIHC.
The HELLA Hype Award will engage fans by allowing them to vote for their favorite driver, while the HELLA Heritage Award will recognize the driver with the most finishes in the race's history. These initiatives not only celebrate the achievements of drivers and teams but also reinforce HELLA's position as a leader in automotive innovation and performance.
