The ceremony, scheduled for October 14 at the Avon Theatre - Deborah & Chuck Royce Cinema Arts Center in Stamford, Connecticut, will celebrate Davis's unparalleled influence on music and culture over the past sixty years.
Clive Davis's career is marked by the discovery and development of some of the most iconic artists in music history, including Whitney Houston, Bruce Springsteen, and Janis Joplin. His visionary leadership and dedication to artistic excellence have earned him five Grammy Awards and a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Peter H. Gistelinck, Executive Director of the Avon Theatre, praised Davis as a "once-in-a-generation visionary" whose work embodies the values of resilience and creative risk-taking.
