The first Global Artificial Intelligence Machines and Electronics Expo, hosted by the China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, is scheduled to take place from December 4, 2025, in Macao and Zhuhai. This event marks a significant milestone in the global technology and manufacturing sectors, adopting an innovative "One Expo, Two Cities" model to maximize its impact and accessibility.
With the theme "Bay Area Intelligence, Globally Embraced," the Expo is positioned as a "Technology Trendsetter, Global Networking Hub, and Industry Accelerator." It aims to enhance the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's (GBA) influence in the global smart manufacturing arena. The event is expected to attract over 70,000 professional attendees, including representatives from leading enterprises, high-growth startups, and international organizations such as the United Nations International Trade Centre and the International Semiconductor Industry Association.
The Expo will feature a comprehensive "1+1+6+N" framework, including one opening ceremony, one keynote forum, six themed pavilions, and numerous sub-forums, new technology launches, and supply-demand matchmaking sessions. Macao's venue will focus on smart electronics, showcasing products like satellite communications, integrated circuits, and AR/VR/XR products across 40,000 square meters. Meanwhile, Zhuhai's venue will emphasize smart machinery, featuring robotics, digital transformation solutions, and new energy vehicles over 30,000 square meters.
This event is not just a showcase but a platform for fostering capital-technology synergy and shared manufacturing resources, creating an integrated industrial ecosystem for exhibitors. It represents a critical opportunity for stakeholders in the smart machinery and electronics sectors to network, share knowledge, and explore new business opportunities amid intensifying global tech competition.
The Expo's roadshows will commence in Beijing, followed by international events in Germany, Thailand, and Indonesia, and domestic promotions in Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Shenzhen. A strategic media promotion plan will combine authoritative mainstream outlets with vertical industry media to ensure credible outreach and precise targeting of global decision-makers. Additionally, the Expo will leverage new media platforms like Douyin, Kuaishou, Xiaohongshu, and YouTube to build an interactive ecosystem, amplifying its global reach and influence.
Guided by Guangdong’s Commerce and Industry Departments and supported by the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone, Macao’s Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, and Zhuhai’s government, the Expo is set to be a landmark event in the technology and manufacturing sectors. It underscores the growing importance of smart machinery and electronics as core battlegrounds in the global tech competition, offering a glimpse into the future of industry innovation and collaboration.
