Best Friends Fur Ever and SARC Surpass Fundraising Goal for Survivor Pet Housing

Best Friends Fur Ever (BFFE) has partnered with the Sexual Assault/Spouse Abuse Resource Center (SARC) to exceed a fundraising goal aimed at supporting survivors of domestic violence and their pets. The event, held on June 14th, not only surpassed the $7,000 target but also highlighted the importance of keeping families and their pets together during times of crisis.

Luisa Caiazzo, President and CEO of SARC, emphasized the fundraiser's significance beyond financial support, stating it's about compassion and removing barriers for survivors. The event featured a family-friendly parade and activities in Havre de Grace, drawing community support and raising awareness for SARC's mission.

BFFE contributed over $2,000 to the cause, with co-founders Pat and Kelly Cullum matching the amount raised by their team. Kelly Cullum expressed pride in supporting SARC's vision, underscoring the belief that every family member, including pets, deserves safety and love.
