The Atlanta Community Food Bank, a pivotal nonprofit in the Southeast's battle against hunger, has unveiled its new 2025 Board of Directors and Advisory Board members. This strategic infusion of leadership is set to bolster the organization's efforts in addressing food insecurity across 29 counties in metro Atlanta and North Georgia. Kyle Waide, President & CEO of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, emphasized the critical role of the board in steering the organization towards its mission of aiding food-insecure individuals and families through essential programs and services.
Althea Broughton, from Arnall Golden Gregory's Real Estate Practice Group, steps up as the Chair of the Board of Directors, transitioning from her previous role as Vice Chair. The board welcomes new members including Sarah Brown, Stewart Gantt, Mark Hoffman, Satya Kama, and Kendi O'Mard, each bringing a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to eradicating hunger. On the Advisory Board front, Amir Ghoddousi assumes the role of Chair, with Brittanie Browning, Somia Farid Silber, and Chris McCollum joining as new members, ready to contribute their diverse expertise to the cause.
