Citizens Commission on Human Rights to Host Purple Heart Day Event at Historic Fort Harrison

The Florida chapter of the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a nonprofit dedicated to safeguarding mental health human rights, is set to host a significant event in honor of Purple Heart Day. Scheduled for Saturday, August 2nd, at the historic Fort Harrison in downtown Clearwater, the event aims to pay tribute to individuals who have been awarded the Purple Heart Medal for their service. The evening will commence with a reception at 5pm, followed by a banquet at 5:30pm, welcoming families of Purple Heart recipients to join in the commemoration.
