Intuit IDEAS Program Goes National, Offering Small Businesses and Veteran Entrepreneurs Unprecedented Support

Intuit Inc., the global financial technology platform behind popular services like TurboTax, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, has announced the national expansion of its IDEAS (Invest, Develop, Empower, Accelerate, and Scale) accelerator program. This initiative, in collaboration with the National Urban League, is now accepting applications from small business owners across nine U.S. cities and a nationwide cohort exclusively for veterans and military spouse entrepreneurs. The program's expansion follows its successful launch in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, where participants reported an average revenue increase of 23% and saved 16.5 hours monthly.

The IDEAS program is designed to help small businesses grow by providing them with access to Intuit's AI-driven products and services, alongside business and executive coaching from the National Urban League and Zella Life. David Graham, Senior Vice President of Customer Success at Intuit, highlighted the program's impact, stating it exemplifies the company's mission to empower small business owners with the necessary tools and support to thrive.

With the expansion, Intuit IDEAS aims to support an additional 250 small business owners in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, New Orleans, New York City, and San Diego, alongside a dedicated cohort for military veteran and spouse-owned businesses. Marc H. Morial, President and CEO of the National Urban League, emphasized the program's potential to address common challenges faced by small businesses, such as limited funding and access to capital, by leveraging Intuit's technological resources and the National Urban League's extensive experience in small business coaching.

Participants in the Intuit IDEAS program will receive complimentary access to Intuit's financial technology platform, including TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Credit Karma, supported by platform experts. Additionally, they will benefit from business coaching, executive coaching, a technology grant for hardware needs, and a cash grant upon completing the 12-month program to further fuel their business growth.

The program's transformative effect is best illustrated by the success stories of its participants, such as Emilio Daniel Vasquez, CEO and founder of Coffee Cart Boys, who credits Intuit IDEAS with helping him overcome impostor syndrome and achieve significant business growth. The application for the Intuit IDEAS program is currently open, with a deadline of July 21, 2025, for interested business owners in the selected cities and veteran or military spouse entrepreneurs nationwide.
