45Drives has announced the complete program for the 2025 Creators Summit, a three-day event scheduled for September 10-12 across multiple venues in Wilmington, NC. The summit will feature dedicated enterprise and studio tracks, bringing together enterprise technologists, filmmakers, digital creators, and open-source leaders for collaborative learning and innovation.
The first day of the summit on September 10 will take place at the Skyline Center's Magnolia Room, featuring parallel enterprise and studio tracks. The enterprise track includes sessions from industry experts such as Allan Jude of Klara Inc. and OpenZFS, Mitch Hall of 45Drives discussing high-performance storage cluster design, and Wendell Wilson of Level1Techs. The studio track focuses on creative workflows with presentations from Jeff of Craft Computing on YouTube video editing, Joseph DiGiovanna discussing the NYC Timescape Project, and virtual sessions from Musora Media.
Day two moves to the University of North Carolina Wilmington's Burney Center on September 11, continuing both tracks with additional expert presentations. The enterprise track features Tom Lawrence of Lawrence Systems discussing cloud versus local storage economics, Devin Vance of DRBD providing technology insights, and a Proxmox cluster demonstration by Wendell Wilson and Mitch Hall. The studio track includes sessions with Chris Walldorf, Dan Brawley of Cucalorus Film Festival, and Nick from NGW Post discussing post-production workflows.
The summit culminates on September 12 at Cape Fear Community College with the 45Studio Division and Product Launch featuring globally renowned electronic artist deadmau5. This landmark event follows a morning wrap-up livestream on the 45Drives YouTube channel and represents a significant milestone in bridging creative and technological innovation.
