Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida Host STEMapalooza 2025 to Inspire Future Scientists

The Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida are set to host STEMapalooza 2025: A Journey Through The – Ologies, an innovative event designed to immerse participants in the wonders of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Scheduled for August 23 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale, this event promises an evening of discovery and learning for Girl Scouts, students, families, and the broader community.

STEMapalooza 2025 offers a unique opportunity to explore various scientific disciplines through hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and interactions with industry leaders. Participants will delve into biology, astronomy, geology, and more, gaining insights into potential STEM careers. The event also features exclusive after-hours access to the museum's exhibits, including Expedition Dinosaur – Rise of the Mammals and Dino Dana Adventures, among others.

Highlighting the event's interactive nature, attendees will engage with experts in fields such as kinetology, electrology, entomology, and marine biology. Notable participants include the Broward Sheriff’s Office for criminology, WSVN Channel 7’s Vivian Gonzalez for meteorology, and the Guy Harvey Research Institute for marine biology. Admission to STEMapalooza 2025 is priced at $40 for children, students, and Girl Scouts, and $30 for adults.
