Open Hand Atlanta is set to host its 22nd annual Party in the Kitchen fundraiser on Thursday, Sept. 25, at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. This event, one of Atlanta's most anticipated culinary fundraisers, aims to support Open Hand's mission of building healthier communities through nutrition by bringing together the city's top chefs, craft cocktails, chef-curated tastings, and live and silent auctions.

Chefs Peter Kaiser and Kevin Rathbun will serve as co-chairs for the event, alongside new co-chairs Marc Castillo, Heather Froy, and Victor Macias. The evening will feature signature dishes from renowned chefs such as Terry Koval of The Deer and The Dove, Pat Pascarella of The Porchetta Group, Joseph Harrison of Aria, and Tyler Haake of Indaco. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on exclusive auction packages, including luxury getaways and private dinners.

Matthew Pieper, CEO of Open Hand, expressed gratitude for the chefs' support, highlighting how their generosity aids in delivering thousands of nourishing meals to those in need. Prior to the main event, a VIP Patron Reception will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, at the James A. Carlos Family Community Nutrition Center, offering patrons and sponsors a preview of the impact their contributions make.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will directly support Open Hand's programs, which provide medically tailored meals and nutrition education to individuals facing chronic or severe illness, food insecurity, and social isolation across Georgia. Tickets for the Main Event are priced at $300, with the Patron Reception Package starting at $2,000 for two tickets, offering access to both events. Prices for the Main Event will increase to $350 after Aug. 25.
