The City of Wilmington has marked a significant achievement by fully implementing Systems & Software's enQ CIS platform, a move that has not only realized measurable return on investment but also facilitated the city's first-ever on-time property tax distribution. This transition from the aging MUNIS platform to enQ CIS was driven by the platform's capability to integrate utility billing, property tax, licenses, and inspection fees into a single, modern, and user-friendly system.

J. Brett Taylor, Director of Finance for the City of Wilmington, expressed high satisfaction with the platform's performance, highlighting its intuitive design and the ease with which customers and agents can access property information and billing details. The system's automation features promise fewer steps, enhanced data accuracy, and greater transparency, all of which contribute to a superior customer experience. Taylor also commended the Systems & Software team for their expertise, flexibility, and commitment to quality throughout the implementation process.

Adam Smith, Executive Vice President at Systems & Software, shared his pride in supporting the City of Wilmington in this endeavor. Smith emphasized the city's clear focus on improving the customer experience from the outset, a goal that the enQ CIS platform has effectively met by streamlining operations and offering unprecedented levels of transparency and convenience to residents.

A key component of the project was the seamless integration with Paymentus, the city's established credit card processing partner, enabling modern payment options such as Venmo, Walmart Pay, autopay, text-to-pay, and email/SMS billing reminders. The successful migration of financial and account data from the legacy system to enQ CIS was accomplished with minimal disruption to residents, showcasing the platform's efficiency and reliability.
