NewAge Industries, Inc., parent company of the AdvantaPure line of tubing, hose and quality accessories for the high-purity market, has announced the launch of its newest line of tubing, AdvantaSil APSPG-Max silicone pump tubing. The product is specifically formulated to extend pump life, providing approximately 300 hours of performance with low spallation and good flowrate stability.
The APSPG-Max tubing is designed for most critical bioprocessing applications, where extended pump life performance decreases risk and downtime from changeovers typically seen with lesser performing pump tubes. The translucence of the tubing aids in full fluid visualization throughout the length of the tube section, enhancing process monitoring and control.
CEO Mary Marcus expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating that this pump tubing represents the next addition in the company's expanding silicone pump tubing portfolio. She also revealed that another pump tube is scheduled to launch at the beginning of 2026, which will be part of the composite pump tubing family. With a growing line of pump tubing options, NewAge Industries aims to support global industry partners with precisely what they need in pump tubing for their unique applications.
The introduction of AdvantaSil APSPG-Max has significant implications for the bioprocessing and pharmaceutical industries, where equipment reliability and process consistency are critical. The extended 300-hour performance life reduces the frequency of tubing replacements, which can lead to substantial cost savings through reduced downtime and maintenance requirements. The low spallation characteristics minimize particulate contamination risks, particularly important in sensitive biopharmaceutical applications where product purity is paramount.
NewAge Industries, an ISO-9001 certified, 100% employee-owned corporation that has earned a Platinum EcoVadis Sustainability Rating and is also a Certified B Corporation, continues to expand its product offerings through its AdvantaPure, AdvantaFlex, AdvantaSil, and BioClosure container closure systems lines. The company operates from corporate headquarters in Southampton, PA, with additional U.S. locations in Warrington, PA, and an international facility in Coevorden, Netherlands, serving global markets with fluid transfer systems solutions for high-purity pharmaceutical, biopharma, and industrial applications.
