Willinger, Willinger & Bucci, PLLC has announced the continuation of its annual Defending Justice Scholarship, a merit-based award designed to support promising students pursuing legal careers. The scholarship reflects the firm's foundational principles of justice for all and the belief that everyone deserves quality legal representation.
The $1,000 scholarship is available to students enrolled in accredited post-secondary institutions who maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. High school seniors who have been accepted to accredited colleges or universities and meet eligibility criteria may also apply. The award is intended to help cover law school tuition and associated expenses for recipients planning to attend law school after graduation.
Ideal candidates are those who demonstrate a commitment to fair treatment through community activism, volunteer work, and leadership roles. Applications are being accepted through June 30, 2026, and more information can be found on the firm's scholarship page.
This initiative supports the next generation of legal professionals while addressing financial barriers to legal education. By investing in students dedicated to pursuing justice, the scholarship contributes to a more diverse and ethically grounded legal community, potentially influencing future legal practices and client representation standards.
