Boca International Jewish Film Festival Expands for 2026 with Extended Schedule and Multiple Venues

The Boca International Jewish Film Festival (BIJFF) will return for its third annual edition in 2026 with an expanded schedule and multiple venues across South Florida. The festival will feature a diverse selection of international Jewish and Israeli films, running from pre-festival events in January through March 2026.

Co-founder Wendy Honig emphasized the festival's growth, stating that organizers are building on the excitement of previous years to create the biggest and boldest festival yet. The event aims to bring the community together through film, featuring glamorous red carpets and intimate talkbacks that enhance the cinematic experience.

Pre-festival events begin in January 2026, starting with the Big Reveal on January 14 at Movies of Delray. This free community event will showcase the full lineup with sneak peeks, trailers, and surprise guest appearances. The Cinebash Opening Celebration follows on January 26 at The Wick Theatre, offering an elegant evening with dinner and an exclusive film screening. A curated Shorts Program on February 1 at Movies of Delray will highlight innovative works from emerging Jewish filmmakers worldwide.

Main festival screenings will take place across three venues: Cinemark Palace 20 from February 21-28, Movies of Delray from March 1-15, and Paragon Theater Deerfield from March 18-22. The expanded schedule allows for broader audience access and more comprehensive programming.

Co-founder Lesley Rich highlighted the festival's commitment to presenting diverse voices and compelling stories that reflect the global Jewish experience. The 2026 program promises to deliver laughter, tears, and conversation-starting content that fosters understanding and appreciation of Jewish culture.
