The awards celebration brought together more than 200 attendees to recognize women whose leadership and service distinguish them as role models for young women.
Rita Case, president and CEO of Rick Case Automotive Group, received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Philanthropy, celebrating her decades-long legacy of community transformation. Case oversees 12 award-winning dealerships across South Florida and Georgia, leading the nation's largest retail automotive group owned and operated by a woman. Her philanthropic impact includes co-founding landmark programs such as Rick Case Bikes for Kids, Rita Case WOMEN Build with Habitat for Humanity and 4EveryKid with Soles4Souls, initiatives that have generated more than $100 million for local organizations.
Four additional honorees were recognized for their professional achievements and community service. Alisa Bert, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Broward Health, oversees a $1.9 billion budget at one of the nation's largest public health systems. Her transformative initiatives have resulted in multiple credit rating upgrades while building mentorship pipelines for young professionals. Bert serves as Treasurer of the Broward College Foundation and the Florida Atlantic University/Broward Health Academic Practice Plan.
Rebecca Bratter, Deputy Managing Partner for Greenspoon Marder, was honored for her two decades of driving national strategy, growth and operations. Bratter founded Kids Can, a nonprofit that encourages children to embrace volunteerism, and serves on the Performing Arts Center Authority shaping the future of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Her leadership has earned recognition as a Distinguished Leader by the Daily Business Review.
Cindy Mason, Market Leader for Florida Blue in Broward County, oversees operations, sales and marketing strategy for one of Florida's most dynamic healthcare markets. With more than 20 years of leadership experience including senior roles at Eli Lilly & Company and Kindred Healthcare, Mason serves on the boards of Junior Achievement of South Florida and the Urban League of Broward County, championing youth empowerment and equity.
Julie Price, President and CEO of Arc Broward, was recognized for her nearly 40 years of advancing inclusion and equity for individuals with disabilities. Rising from Direct Support Professional to CEO, Price has led the organization in delivering innovative programs that empower children and adults to achieve their full potential. She remains active on numerous state and local boards committed to advocacy, education and social equity.
Lisa Johnson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida, emphasized the importance of these role models, stating that they inspire daughters to find their voice and become confident women who create meaningful change.
