Hybrid Power Solutions Inc. has announced the signing of an advance purchase order valued at $1,173,800 with LMDH Equipment Sales Inc., marking a significant milestone in the adoption of clean energy technology across industrial sectors. The order includes twelve HPSS Spark units and one HPSS Terra unit, with deliveries scheduled to meet ongoing 2025 and 2026 customer forecasts following a successful long-term demonstration period.
CEO and Founder Francois Byrne emphasized the importance of this agreement, stating that it highlights the growing demand for innovative, zero-emission and low emissions power solutions in the Canadian rental market. This advance purchase order prioritizes LMDH deliveries as the company commits to a significant order over the coming year, reinforcing Hybrid Power Solutions' mission to drive sustainable energy adoption across multiple industries.
The HPSS Spark represents a portable fuel-free power solution with substantial capabilities for industrial applications. The system delivers up to 48,000W of peak power and 30kWh of energy storage, enabling it to handle demanding loads such as site trailers, welding equipment, or heavy-duty tools. Available in both all-electric and hybrid configurations, the all-electric model provides net-zero emissions when paired with solar panels, while the hybrid model integrates with existing generators to reduce fuel costs by up to 75% during off-grid or round-the-clock operations.
Dustin Hubert, Chief Operating Officer of LMDH Equipment Sales Inc., explained that the partnership responds to customer demands for more resilient and sustainable power sources with increased fuel savings over traditional temporary power solutions. The compact, towable design of the HPSS Spark is engineered and assembled in Canada for reliability in extreme conditions, eliminating diesel exhaust, noise, and maintenance hassles while supporting sustainability goals through solar recharging and minimal downtime.
The HPSS Terra system offers scalable battery energy storage microgrid capabilities with a rated 167kVA continuous output and expandable architecture for larger systems. This mobile microgrid format combines battery storage with seamless integration for solar, wind, or traditional generators, storing excess renewable energy for on-demand use even in low-light conditions. The system's durability and efficiency make it suitable for harsh industrial environments, featuring robust thermal management and safety protocols to minimize downtime.
Recent deployments of Hybrid Power Solutions' technology include trials with major Canadian transit agencies, where the systems have enabled extended work shifts by replacing noisy diesel units. In one instance, a Canadian transit operator used Terra systems to gain an extra hour of daily productivity by switching from diesel generators. The company's technology is positioned for expansion into mining, rail, and marine sectors, indicating broader industry adoption of clean energy solutions.
This significant purchase order demonstrates the increasing market acceptance of sustainable power alternatives in traditionally fuel-dependent industries. The environmental and economic benefits of these systems, including reduced operational expenses and elimination of diesel exhaust, align with global sustainability initiatives while providing practical solutions for remote job sites, urban maintenance, and fleet electrification. As industries continue to seek alternatives to traditional power sources, agreements like this advance purchase order signal a shift toward cleaner, more efficient energy solutions across construction, restoration, and event sectors.
