DFW Car and Toy Museum Hosts Grateful Dead Tribute Concert to Benefit The Women's Center

The DFW Car and Toy Museum in Fort Worth, Texas will host Concert at the Museum: A Grateful Dead Tribute on December 6, 2025, featuring the Texas Northbound Train tribute band from 6-9 p.m. This special event combines musical entertainment with charitable giving, as all proceeds will benefit The Women's Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Tarrant County residents overcome violence, crisis, and poverty.

Admission to the concert is set at $10 per ticket, with only 700 tickets available for purchase. Attendees will enjoy food and beverages from various local food trucks while listening to classic Grateful Dead tunes performed by Texas Northbound Train. This vehicle, previously owned by Owsley Stanley, the Grateful Dead's original sound man, was used to haul the band's equipment in the 1960s and represents a significant piece of Deadhead culture.

The Grateful Dead, formed in 1965 in the San Francisco Bay area by Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Ron McKernan, Phil Lesh, and Bill Kreutzmann, became one of America's highest-grossing touring acts and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. Their devoted fan base, known as Deadheads, continues to celebrate the band's music decades after their formation.
