This platform provides a comprehensive library of information, perspectives, and community support focused specifically on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment, which is often prescribed for children with autism based on decades of research into learning and behavior.

TheSpectrum.org features conversations with parents, autism service providers, Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs®), and other autism experts, along with downloadable tools for informed treatment decision-making. Parents can access evidence-based research from leading authorities on ABA's effectiveness as a treatment for autism and connect with BCBAs to ask general questions while evaluating options for their children. The resource addresses the highly individualized nature of ABA treatment, which is tailored to each child's strengths, autism symptoms, specific developmental challenges, and family goals and preferences.

A primary function of TheSpectrum.org is to provide counterevidence to widespread misinformation and negative narratives about ABA treatment that have proliferated online, particularly on social media platforms.
