H2APEX Group SCA, a listed operator and developer of green hydrogen plants, has announced an increased revenue forecast for the full year 2025, raising expectations to between €9 million and €10 million from the previous range of €6 million to €8 million. This upward revision reflects the initial positive effects of the company's adjusted strategic focus on expanding its own hydrogen production capacities, which are materializing earlier than anticipated.
The company attributes the unexpected revenue increase primarily to its joint IPCEI-funded project with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners in Lubmin, for which H2APEX has provided initial project development services. This strategic partnership represents a significant milestone in the company's expansion of hydrogen production capabilities. Peter RoBner, CEO of H2APEX, stated that the increased revenue forecast serves as validation of the company's strategic direction and encourages continued pursuit of their chosen path.
Beyond the Lubmin project, which is expected to achieve 100 MW capacity in its first expansion stage, H2APEX plans to implement hydrogen projects with smaller production capacities. These decentralized, small-volume plants are designed to meet existing strong hydrogen demand without requiring pipeline connections. The company's medium to long-term strategy anticipates generating the majority of revenue from operating its own plants, aiming to ensure greater revenue stability, predictable cash flow, and improved scalability for sustainable long-term growth.
H2APEX also identifies additional revenue potential through providing services to external customers and joint ventures, including operation and maintenance of hydrogen plants and project development. The company continues to develop its own hydrogen storage solutions to enable efficient transport of this critical raw material. Further strategic expansion includes developing energy and asset management capabilities, storage and transport solutions, and operations and maintenance services.
The interim report for the first three quarters of the 2025 financial year will be published as scheduled on November 24, 2025. The ad hoc announcement regarding the revised revenue forecast is available for download on the company website at https://h2apex.com/en/ in the Investor Relations section. This development signals growing momentum in the green hydrogen sector and demonstrates how strategic pivots toward production capacity expansion can yield faster-than-expected financial results in the emerging clean energy market.
