Office Evolution, a leading provider of flexible workspace solutions, is expanding its Jacksonville-Town Center location by adding nearly 3,000 square feet to better serve entrepreneurs, small businesses, and enterprise companies. The expansion at 5011 Gate Parkway, Building 100, Suite 100 represents the second growth initiative in four years under franchise owner Michael Wielgus, who operates two additional Office Evolution locations on the First Coast.
Michael Wielgus stated that the expansion responds directly to evolving workplace preferences. Professionals increasingly seek to work near their residences to minimize commuting time while accessing cost-effective business solutions. The expansion accommodates growing numbers of businesses establishing small satellite offices in Jacksonville and organizations using meeting spaces to connect in-office and remote employees.
Scheduled for completion in early 2026, the expansion will increase the Town Center facility from 10,562 to 13,549 square feet, adding 14 individual and team offices. Upon completion, the location will feature 56 offices, three conference rooms, two private phone booths, a coworking lounge, two community kitchens, and a mail center. Advanced technology infrastructure includes a private VLAN, dedicated fiber internet with commercial-grade ethernet/WiFi, and an Atlas Sound Masking System for noise reduction and voice privacy. Members will maintain 24/7 secure access using entry fobs.
Wielgus emphasized the company's commitment to community building through networking and social events designed to foster professional relationships, business referrals, and partnerships among members. The Wielgus family opened the Town Center location in April 2018 and completed its first expansion in 2021 to address high demand. They subsequently added Jacksonville-Bartram and Jacksonville-Brooklyn/Riverside locations in 2020 and 2023, respectively.
Collectively, the three Office Evolution locations support over 800 small businesses, solopreneurs, and enterprise companies, representing more than 1,300 members. The member base primarily comprises professionals from transportation/logistics, financial services, legal services, real estate, and information technology sectors.
