Substantial UFO Production Archive Including Rare Roswell Yearbook Heads to December Auction

A substantial private collection documenting decades of UFO and UAP research will be available through an online auction on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Direct Auctions will present the professional archive of Emmy Award-winning television producer Chris Wyatt, whose work includes UFOs Above & Beyond, Close Encounters: Proof of Alien Contact, UFOs: The Real X-Files, and UFOs: Top Secret. The collection represents a turnkey production resource for television companies, streaming platforms, and documentary filmmakers, with full broadcast rights included.

According to Direct Auctions owner Jeff Schwarz, the industry response has been significant. Schwarz, who has forty years of experience liquidating assets, stated, "In my 40 years of liquidating assets, from major movie sets to multi-million-dollar estates, I have never seen a response like this. The phone is ringing off the hook from film production companies and UFO collectors globally. This is, without a doubt, the number one auction in terms of immediate interest I have ever handled." The auction will be conducted globally online via the platform iCollector.

Assembled between 1992 and 2004, the archive provides comprehensive production materials. The winning bidder will acquire 39 hours of broadcast-quality master tapes featuring never-aired interviews with prominent figures in UFO research, including the second interview ever filmed with Bob Lazar discussing Area 51 and the S-4 facility. The intellectual property assets include an original, unpublished feature film script about the life of Bob Lazar and full broadcast and licensing rights to all footage, enabling production of multiple documentaries without third-party licensing requirements.

The visual archives contain over 150 original photographs from the private collection of respected UFO researcher Lt. Col. Wendelle Stevens, with many images previously unpublished. An extensive B-roll archive is also included. Research documents comprise more than 500 declassified government documents related to CIA projects, Project Aquarius, and Majestic 12, along with hundreds of vintage books and rare periodicals including Fate Magazine, Flying Saucers, and UFO Report.

The centerpiece artifact is the 1947 Roswell Army Air Force Base Yearbook, considered extraordinarily rare within UFO research circles. This yearbook is understood to be one of the only copies not held by government institutions, as original versions were reportedly confiscated following the 1947 incident. Acquired by Wyatt in 1996 from Roswell Air Force Base through a base officer, the yearbook provides personnel records that could enable researchers to locate witnesses, offering investigative angles for documentary projects.

Featured interview subjects in the archive include key figures such as Bob Lazar, Mercury Seven astronaut Gordon Cooper, nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman, Emmy-winning journalist Linda Moulton Howe, researcher Budd Hopkins, and historian Dr. David Jacobs. Additional contributors include Michael Lindemann, Clyde Lewis, Bob Dean, Paul Davids, Tim Cullen, Ian Christopher, Stephen Bassett of the Disclosure Project, Dr. Roger Leir, Gary Lowry, Jim Dilettoso, Dr. Frank, James Gilliland of ECETI Ranch, A.J.
