Urtopia, a smart carbon-fiber mobility company founded by engineers from several leading universities, introduced its IoT Riding Ecosystem at CES 2026. The system synchronizes smart e-bikes, smart rings, and intelligent safety devices into a unified AI-powered platform. A live demonstration showed how real-time riding, health, and safety data merge into a single AI-driven experience, aiming to enhance exercise, optimize recovery, improve safety, and elevate daily interaction.
The ecosystem centers on three interconnected devices: Urtopia Smart E-Bikes with AI-powered riding that analyzes cadence, torque, slope, distance, and effort; the Aivela Smart Ring Pro, which combines touch commands, air gestures, and health tracking; and the Urtopia Carbon Smart Helmet 1, featuring voice control, fall detection, smart lighting, and multi-person mesh intercom. Through AI analysis of sensor inputs, the system provides personalized recommendations and a unified digital health profile. The CEO stated, "The future of mobility isn't just electric — it's intelligent, connected, and health-aware," emphasizing how AI and real-time data create smarter, safer rides.
Alongside the ecosystem, Urtopia debuted several product breakthroughs. The Urtopia Quark DM 1.2 motor is highlighted as the world's lightest and most torque-dense e-bike motor, weighing less than 2.6 lbs with up to 65 Nm torque output. It features a self-developed high-precision torque sensor and dynamic magnetic encoder, detailed at https://www.urtopia.com. The Urtopia Titanium Zero e-bike integrates this motor with a 3D-printed titanium alloy frame and advanced solid-state battery technology, achieving a final weight of 22 lbs. It sets a new benchmark for lightweight performance and is compatible with SRAM 12-speed electronic shifting.
The Urtopia Carbon Helmet 1, built with aerospace-grade carbon fiber, includes multi-person mesh intercom, smart adaptive lighting, fall detection, Bluetooth audio, and a built-in AI Coach without subscription requirements. It is available in Cycling and Ski editions. These innovations reflect Urtopia's mission to create connected, health-forward, and sustainable riding experiences. The ecosystem's integration of devices could influence the mobility industry by promoting data-driven health monitoring and safety features, potentially reducing accidents and encouraging active lifestyles. For consumers, it offers a cohesive platform that simplifies device management while providing actionable insights, aligning with growing trends in digital health and smart transportation.
