Hi-View Resources Inc. has announced the appointment of Ms. Shannon Broughm as a Technical Advisor to the Company. Ms. Broughm, a Senior Consultant with APEX Geoscience Ltd., brings nine years of experience as a consulting geologist specializing in mineral exploration programs targeting base and precious metals across various deposit types, with particular focus on porphyry–epithermal systems.
Ms. Broughm holds a B.Sc. in Geology from Dalhousie University and an M.Sc. in Geology from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where her research on magnetite-apatite mineralization was published in the international journal Mineralium Deposita. She has been a Professional Geologist registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta since February 2022. Her extensive fieldwork includes five summers working with the Geological Survey in Newfoundland and Labrador and the Department of Natural Resources in Nova Scotia during her student years.
The appointment holds particular significance for Hi-View's operations in the Toodoggone region of northern British Columbia, where Ms. Broughm has worked extensively since 2018. During this time, she has developed strong technical expertise in the region's geology, structural controls, mineralization, and effective exploration techniques for discovery. Her most recent work includes leading exploration programs targeting high sulphidation and porphyry systems in northeastern British Columbia.
"I'm excited to join Hi-View as a Technical Advisor and apply my experience in the Toodoggone Region to advancing their highly prospective projects," Ms. Broughm commented regarding her appointment.
R. Nick Horsley, Chief Executive Officer of Hi-View, emphasized the strategic value of this appointment, stating, "We are happy to welcome Shannon to Hi-View's Technical Advisory Board. Since 2018, she has demonstrated exceptional geological and geochemical expertise, combined with leadership in fieldwork and exploration throughout the Toodoggone region. Her practical approach and diverse background will be valuable as we continue advancing our projects."
Hi-View Resources Inc. is advancing a portfolio of gold, silver, and copper assets in the Toodoggone region covering more than 27,791 hectares. The company's 100% owned and optioned projects include the flagship Golden Stranger Project, the Lawyers claims, and the Borealis Project, all designated as high-priority targets. Additional assets include the Nub and Saunders properties, while the Northern Claims and Harmon Peak remain under active option agreements.
