The InnoEX exhibition, jointly organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the HKSAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, opened today alongside the HKTDC's Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Under the theme "Innovate . Automate . Elevate," the four-day event gathers leading global innovation and technology solutions, artificial intelligence technologies, and cutting-edge electronic products from technology enterprises, startups, and buyers worldwide.
This year's edition features over 2,800 exhibitors from 27 countries and regions, with robotics technology emerging as a major highlight through the newly launched "RoboPark" zone. The zone brings together technology companies from Hong Kong, the Chinese Mainland, and overseas to showcase over 100 robots across diverse application scenarios. Four of the world's top five best-selling humanoid robot manufacturers are participating, including AgiBot, Unitree, UBTECH, and EngineAI, along with additional members of Shenzhen's "Eight Great Guardians of Embodied Intelligence." Unitree presents the first launch outside the Chinese Mainland of its next-generation quadruped robot dog, Unitree A2, capable of running at up to 5 m/s and climbing to heights of up to 1 meter, designed for commercial and industrial applications.
Hong Kong-based RiceRobotics presents autonomous robots designed for building and office operations including delivery, cleaning, disinfection, and patrol security, which are already widely adopted by Japanese enterprises like SoftBank and 7-Eleven Japan. International exhibitors from the United Kingdom, Israel, the Philippines, and Singapore also participate in RoboPark, with approximately 40 events including application sharing sessions and live demonstrations to facilitate cross-regional exchange and industrial collaboration. More information about the exhibition can be found at innoex.hktdc.com/en.
This year's InnoEX features over 550 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, with first-time participation from Austria, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, the Philippines, and the United States, reflecting strong global recognition of Hong Kong's innovation platform. The exhibition focuses on five key areas: AI+, Robotics, Low-altitude Economy, PropTech, and RetailTech. In AI+, the Digital Policy Office presents the "Smart Hong Kong Pavilion" featuring innovative solutions from over 20 government departments and public organizations. First-time exhibitor Tencent Cloud showcases AI solutions including SuperApp and PalmAI, enabling enterprises to build their own mini-program ecosystems.
The development of a competitive low-altitude economy ecosystem receives significant attention, with China Mobile Hong Kong presenting a drone traffic management system demonstrating integrated solutions for low-altitude logistics delivery and intelligent inspection. InnoEX will co-organize the LAE Development Conference on April 15 with the Working Group on Developing Low-altitude Economy, featuring speakers including Bakhtiyar Mukhametkaliyev, Vice Minister of the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan. A Low-altitude Economy Zone showcases technology applications from companies including Transcendence, Harmony SkyTech, and Damoda.
The Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) brings together exhibitors from 15 countries and regions, with Australia, France, Macao, and Thailand participating for the first time. The fair presents innovative technologies across three major areas: Smart Home & Solutions, Health Tech & Gadgets, and Pet Intelligence, featuring approximately 60 product launches. Infinite Import & Export introduces the "BG120 Smart Sports Glasses" supporting calling, music playback, magnetic charging, and AI voice assistant activation, while Hunan Greatwall Computer System Co., Ltd. presents the "Great Wall Dragon Armor" Mini PC series.
As demand for elderly products rises, the EFSE promotes "Smart Ageing Products" with Zhongyuan Innovation (HK) Limited presenting an AI Smart Elderly Care Kit that monitors vital signs and detects abnormalities in real time. The growing "pet economy" is addressed through products like the Aura AI Pet Robot by Tuya Hong Kong Limited, a generative AI-powered pet companion solution integrating daily care and entertainment capabilities. The EFSE features approximately 30 thematic zones including the "Hall of Fame," "Startup Zone," and "Immersive Experience Zone" where local companies present interactive experiences using VR, AR, and XR technologies. Additional details about the electronics fair are available at hkelectronicsfairse.hktdc.com/en.
Over 100 forums and exchange activities will be held across the four days, bringing together technology companies, industry experts, academics, and buyers to share industry trends and foster collaboration. The Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises hosts a thematic seminar titled "Driving Innovation and Industry Development through China's Next Five-Year Roadmap," featuring enterprises including JD Group, Ant Group, and Pfizer sharing experiences using Hong Kong as a strategic platform to expand into the Greater Bay Area and Asia-Pacific region. A new "Go Global Consultation Zone" allows organizations including the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation and Invest Hong Kong to provide on-site consultation services.
The events align with the National 15th Five-Year Plan and Hong Kong Government's innovation and technology development directions outlined in the latest Budget, accelerating Hong Kong's development as an international innovation hub. The concurrent Business of Innovation and Technology Week features additional events including the Hong Kong World Youth Science Conference, Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026, and International Academicians Hong Kong Forum, while the World Internet Conference Asia Pacific Summit promotes global digital innovation and technological exchange, further strengthening Hong Kong's position as a regional digital hub.
