6 Stones Fall Blitz Unites Community to Repair Homes and Strengthen Neighborhoods

Neighbors, volunteers, businesses, churches, and community partners joined forces with the cities of Euless, Hurst, and Grapevine on October 16-17 for the 6 Stones Community Powered Revitalization (CPR) Fall Blitz, an event that paired exterior home repairs with a shared commitment to caring for the community.

The CPR program connects homeowners facing financial or physical barriers to exterior home maintenance with volunteers, skilled professionals, and resources to address those repairs. By bringing local partners together around practical work, the program helps preserve homes and strengthen neighborhoods. Click to View Photos from the event.

Projects like CPR matter because maintaining a home can become difficult when repair costs or physical demands exceed a homeowner's resources. Coordinating volunteer service, professional expertise, and sponsorship creates a pathway to address that work. It also offers neighbors an opportunity to build relationships and take part in caring for the places they call home.

The Fall Blitz was a community effort from preparation to the final project. 6 Stones thanked every volunteer who contributed time and care, along with the sponsors and partners whose participation helped make the event possible. The organization also recognized participating homeowners as partners in this shared work.

CPR sponsors and partners included 121 Community Church; 323 Capital; Aprende Business Coaching; Atmos Energy; Bank of America; Bell; Bloomfield Homes; Central Bible Church; City of Euless; City of Hurst; City of Grapevine; Classic Chevrolet; Dalworth Restoration; DFW Plastics, Inc.; First Hurst; Freedom Church; HEB Rotary; Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District; Integris; Joe Hall Roofing; KBKG; Republic Services; Republic Tire & Supply; RS Americas; Smith Lawn and Tree; Star Wellness; Stately Designs; Sunbelt Rentals; The Home Depot Foundation; and the cities of Bedford, Euless, and Grapevine. Food sponsors helped keep volunteers fueled throughout the event, including Al Hessling HOA Group; Alley Cats; Bohemian Bull Grapevine; Chick-fil-A Heritage Towne Crossing; Compassion for Kids; Cross City Church; Dave & Buster's Euless; i Fratelli Pizza; Jersey Mike's Hurst; Market Street Colleyville; and Soulman's Bar-B-Que. Together, these contributions supported the coordination, resources, and service behind the Fall Blitz.

The impact of the Fall Blitz extends beyond the immediate repairs. By addressing exterior maintenance, the program helps preserve affordable housing stock and stabilize neighborhoods, which can lead to increased property values and community pride. For homeowners, the repairs can reduce safety hazards and improve quality of life. For volunteers and sponsors, the event offers a chance to engage in meaningful service and build connections across the community.

6 Stones looks forward to welcoming volunteers and partners back for the CPR Spring Blitz on April 17-18. Dates and registration information will be shared as they become available. Service continues between Blitz events, with ongoing CPR projects offering additional opportunities to participate. Individuals, businesses, churches, civic groups, and skilled professionals interested in serving or sponsoring a project are invited to call 817-868-7400 and ask about current CPR opportunities or participation in the Spring Blitz.
