A Place At Home - North Austin has been named a finalist for the Big Boy Hester Small Business of the Year Award in the Round Rock Chamber's 2026 Annual Business Awards. The agency is also a nominee for Best Senior Care Service in the 2026 Best of Round Rock, where it is going for a third consecutive win after taking the title in 2024 and 2025.
The Chamber chose finalists from dozens of public nominations through a closed committee of community leaders. A Place At Home - North Austin is one of three finalists in the small business category, alongside The Palk Insurance Agency and Stone Stash Coffee. Winners will be announced at the Chamber's 59th Annual Business Awards banquet on January 28, 2027, at Kalahari Resorts & Conventions, where about 600 area business and community leaders are expected.
"We feature our award on our website and bring it with us to our local events," said Bryan Eisenberg, co-owner of A Place At Home - North Austin. "It's important to hire a home care agency that shows up for their community, and there is no better way to show that than by showing how the community shows up for you in voting for the Round Rock Chamber and Best of Round Rock awards."
Owned by senior care expert, Stacey and Bryan Eisenberg, A Place At Home - North Austin provides in-home care for seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities. Every caregiver is fully background checked. The agency has also been named Provider of Choice and Employer of Choice by Best of Home Care. Beyond direct care, it offers care coordination and senior living placement help, and it works with local nonprofit ShareTheWill on a medical lending closet for veterans, seniors, and people in need.
Community members can vote for A Place At Home - North Austin in Best Senior Care Service at bestofroundrocktx.com.
The recognition comes as the demand for in-home care continues to rise, with families seeking reliable, compassionate services for aging loved ones. Being a finalist for the Chamber's small business award underscores the agency's commitment to excellence and community engagement, which can influence consumer trust and hiring decisions. The nomination for Best Senior Care Service, coupled with previous wins, reinforces the agency's reputation as a top choice in the region. For the industry, such awards highlight the importance of quality care and ethical business practices, setting a benchmark for other home care providers. The involvement with ShareTheWill and the medical lending closet also demonstrates a broader social responsibility, addressing gaps in support for vulnerable populations. As the awards banquet approaches, the outcomes could further elevate the agency's profile and attract new clients and caregivers, contributing to local economic and social well-being.
